Materials

Our products are made to be used daily for years, so every material is chosen with intent.

Leather

Our leather begins in Tuscany, at a tannery that still works the way it was done hundreds of years ago. Hides are tanned slowly with natural tree bark, with no shortcuts and no harsh chemicals. It's a process that takes patience, and you can feel it in the result. The leather is firm and structured at first, then softens and darkens as you carry it, picking up a patina that's different for every owner. The tannery belongs to a consortium that certifies traditional vegetal tanning. We tested dozens of leathers, and this is the one we chose, because luxury isn't how a leather looks on day one, it's how it looks after years of use.

Thread

Every seam is held together by a waxed polyester thread made in Germany. It's finely braided and flattened so it sits tight in the leather. It also resists sunlight, so the stitching doesn't fade or weaken as the leather ages. The thread is what holds it all together for years.
